DrivePro Body 10

Transcend's DrivePro Body 10 is the best companion for police officers, security guards and other professionals. The camera uses STARVIS™ high-sensitivity image sensor, high-quality lens, and automatic infrared illumination that ensure all the important details of actions are clearly recorded. The DrivePro Body 10 also features a built-in battery and excellent water and shock resistance, making it ideal for indoor and outdoor use.


STARVIS™ high-sensitivity image sensor

Transcend's DrivePro Body 10 features the STARVIS™ high-sensitivity image sensor to capture high-resolution video and photos with superb, rich color. Even in low light, images are highly detailed with low noise and excellent dynamic range.

Infrared LEDs for night vision

Transcend's DrivePro Body 10 has four no-glow (940nm wavelength) infrared LEDs that automatically turn on in dim light to enhance night vision capabilities. This drastically increases recording quality in pitch-black darkness.

Note: Footage and snapshots taken with infrared LEDs enabled will be in grayscale.

Built-in battery

With a built-in Li-Polymer battery, the DrivePro Body 10 can record up to 5 hours* of footage on a full charge, mitigating the need for a power adapter for police officers on duty.

Note: Recording time may differ based on environmental conditions and operation settings (eg. enabling infrared LEDs).

Quick snapshot button

The quick snapshot function allows users to take photos while recording video simultaneously. During an incident, just reach up and press the snapshot button to capture photographic evidence on the spot.

Rugged and durable design

The rugged DrivePro Body 10 provides excellent protection for outdoor recording. IPX4 water resistance offers protection against splashing water from any direction. The DrivePro Body 10 also offers excellent shock resistance, meeting U.S. military drop-test standards.

Note:
The DrivePro Body 10 was tested under controlled laboratory conditions and given a rating of IPX4 under IEC standard 60529. Water and dust resistance are not permanent conditions and resistance may decrease as a result of normal wear. Product must be clean and dry before use. Liquid damage not covered under warranty.

Loop recording

Allows the body camera to overwrite old video files with new ones.

TAA compliance

Transcend’s DrivePro Body products are compliant with Trade Agreements Act (TAA).

DrivePro Body Toolbox

Transcend's DrivePro Body Toolbox is exclusively designed for the DrivePro Body series. It features a user-friendly interface that allows users to securely manage recorded videos and snapshots on PCs. In addition, users can adjust settings for both the Toolbox and the DrivePro Body device, format internal storage, and upgrade the body camera's firmware via the Toolbox.

We generally take 1-2 days to receive your payment and process your order.

Thereafter our courier generally takes 1-2 days to deliver the item to you.

Should you reside outside of the major metropolitan area, please expect the order to take a little longer, as it would need to be shipped to a regional centre before dispatch to you.

Return Policy

1. Returns

1.1. To be eligible for a return or a refund, you will need to notify us in writing to help@thedigitalfactory.co.za within 7 days of receiving your order, of your intention to return the item, the reason for the return, and provide proof of purchase.

1.2. Your item must be unused and in it's original, unopened packaging.

1.3. If more than 7 days have gone by since your purchase, or the item has been used, or its packaging opened, we cannot offer you a return or refund.

1.4. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned e.g. consumables such as printer cartridges, software that has been opened or used, clothing items due to hygiene reasons and built-to-order systems.

1.5. A 20% restocking fee will apply to all returns.

1.6. A R150 courier fee will be levied should we uplift the item from you.

We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, less shipping costs and restocking fee, and a credit will be applied to your credit card or bank account. Please allow 7-10 business days for the funds to reflect on your credit card, or 2-3 business days for the funds to reflect on your bank account should we pay you via EFT.

Please ensure that you provide a correct delivery address and ensure you are available to receive your order, as we are not liable to refund an order that was delivered to the address you specified.

2. Warranty Repairs

2.1. Many of our products are covered by their respective manufacturers carry-in warranty.

What is a defect? A defect is a material imperfection in the manufacture of a product or any characteristic of a product, which makes the product less acceptable than one would reasonably be entitled to expect in the circumstances.

2.2. The following will not be regarded as defects and will not entitle you to a request a refund:

faults resulting from normal wear and tear;damage arising from negligence, user abuse or incorrect usage of the product;damage arising from electrical surges or sea air corrosion;damage arising from a failure to adequately care for the product;damage arising from unauthorized alterations to the product;where the specifications of a product, although accurately described on the Website and generally fit for its intended purpose, do not suit you

2.3. Should you believe your item to be defective, we will provide you with authorization and depending on the warranty type, direct you to the nearest carry-in centre at Midrand, Durban, Cape Town, Bloemfontein, Port Elizabeth or Nelspruit (product specific).

2.4. Your item will be examined by our suppliers for defect or damage.

2.5. Should the item be defective, it will be replaced or repaired as per the terms of that respective manufacturer’s warranty.

2.6. Should the item be damaged or not covered by a manufacturer's warranty, our supplier will quote the cost of repairs which will be for your account.
