  • LeapFrog LeapPad2 Power – Green and Violet
  • LeapFrog LeapPad2 Explorer– Green and Violet
  • LeapFrog LeapPad1 Explorer– Green and Pink
  • LeapFrog LeapsterGS Explorer – Green and Violet
  • LeapFrog Leapster Explorer – Green and Pink

PROOF OF PURCHASE MUST be supplied at all times or no claim will be considered.

  • 1 Year (12 Months) on faulty components and manufacturing defects from date of purchase.
  • LeapFrog Cartridge Games and LeapTV Educational Active Video Games
  • 3 Months from date of purchase.
  • LeapFrog Accessories including LeapTV Transforming Controller
  • 1 Month from date of purchase.

The below are exclusions and voids the warranty on all LeapFrog tablets, LeapFrog Cartridge Games and LeapFrog Accessories:

  • Physical Damage (not covered under warranty)
  • Water Damage (not covered under warranty)
  • Cracked Screen (not covered under warranty)
  • Leaking Batteries (not covered under warranty)
  • Foreign Objects Inserted (not covered under warranty)
  • Bricked Tablets (not covered under warranty)
  • Software Related Issues (not covered under warranty)

Warranty Process – LeapFrog Tablets

Customer to advise help@thedigitalfactory.co.za and make arrangements to have the faulty LeapFrog tablet returned (shipping charges for customer's account) within twelve (12) months of purchase:

  • Proof of Purchase required.
  • We will test the faulty item and check that is has not been any of the below damage:
    • Physical Damage (not covered under warranty)
    • Water Damage (not covered under warranty)
    • Cracked Screen (not covered under warranty)
    • Leaking Batteries (not covered under warranty)
    • Foreign Objects Inserted (not covered under warranty)
    • Bricked Console (not covered under warranty)
  • We will call LeapFrog Support (South Africa) (011 549 2320/1/2) to trouble shoot
  • If problem cannot be resolved with trouble shooting an LP-NUMBER must be obtained.
  • Please note: Leapfrog may also collect the item for further testing and assessment.

Warranty Process – LeapFrog Cartridge Games and LeapFrog Accessories

Customer to advise help@thedigitalfactory.co.za and make arrangements to have the faulty LeapFrog Cartridge Game (3 months from date of purchase) or LeapFrog Accessory (1 month from date of purchase) returned (shipping charges for customer's account):

  • Proof of Purchase requred.
  • We will test the faulty item and check that there is no physical damage.
  • We will call LeapFrog Support (South Africa) (011 549 2320/1/2) to trouble shoot.
  • If problem cannot be resolved with trouble shooting a LP-NUMBER must be obtained.
  • Please note: Leapfrog may also collect the item for further testing and assessment.

XMS is able to provide support on the following:

  • General customer queries
  • Store queries
  • Basics of checking that the unit can work
  • Setting up the LeapFrog tablet
  • Connectivity issues
  • Screen calibration
  • Provide authorisation for exchanges

The specifications required to connect to LeapFrog Connect are clearly stated on the box. The LeapFrog tablet cannot guarantee that the user’s PC is correctly set up. Incorrect settings on the user’s PC do not mean that the LeapFrog tablet is faulty and NO EXCHANGE OR RETURN WILL BE ACCEPTED. LeapFrog Support (South Africa) and XMS is available to help the customer set up their PC.
